A Word About our Founder & Managing Partner 

Ross Haghighat is a proven entrepreneur and technology leader with more than three decades of success in biotech, medtech, climatetech and homeland security markets.  As founding CEO and Chairman of Triton Systems, he guided the company from an innovative startup to a global venture leader, commercializing breakthrough technologies in healthcare, defense, energy, and sustainability.

Ross has founded, cofounded, or served on the boards of a dozen private and public companies, across the U.S., Europe, the Middle East, and Australia.  His leadership has helped bring to market a range of transformative products, including Avertix Medical’s Guardian®, the first and only FDA-approved Class III implantable device for real-time heart attack detection.  He also played a key strategic role in scaling Aduro Biotech as a publicly listed cancer immunotherapy company.  He also served on the Board of Chinook Therapeutics, a publicly traded leader in kidney therapeutics, acquired by Novartis for $3.4B in 2023.

As a co-founder and Chairman of Nofia Solutions, he helped grow the business into a global manufacturer of a family of sustainable flame-retardant additives used across automotive, EV, textile and electronics.  At Fluence Corporation, he helped lead the company from first revenue to one of the world’s leading water treatment companies with deployments in 70 countries.  Ross’ portfolio companies have raised over $2B in capital and he has helped to deliver over $5B in shareholder value through successful IPOs, acquisitions, and major partnerships. 

Ross brings a collaborative, growth-driven approach to scaling companies and advancing technologies that address critical global needs.   

He holds an MBA from Boston College, an MS in Organometallic Chemistry, and a BS in Advanced Materials Engineering from Rutgers University.
